Jessica Parton Chambers is a mixed media Artist, working with drawing, photography, and encaustic paint. She finds inspiration in the youth she teaches in Baltimore City Schools, and her own children. She is currently exploring the theme of time and nostalgia in parenting. The moments of child-rearing are lasting in memories yet fleeting. One day you are stepping on a lego and the next day you are sending your child off to their first day of school. Each play thing left behind is a reminder of a child’s ephemeral narrative. If Jessica had a super power it would be to stretch time with her artistic creations and move mountains with thoughtful words.
